
I made the "munchkins" from cacao nuts. I ground up 1/4 C of them in my coffee grinder, mixed them with a dollop or two of maple sugar, 2 TBS C of coconut oil. Then I ground up some raw walnuts, about a handful of them. Mixed the whole shooting match together rolled them into balls and then into the sprinkles, and in the case of mine, the shredded coconut. Firm them up in the fridge.
The kids liked them! Which I like, since they're getting nutrition and don't even know it. I do suggest taking them out of them out of the fridge a little bit, before eating. This way they will be a little softer to the touch. Of course, it's winter right now, so we wanted them warmer. You could also put them into the dehydrator. I haven't tried it, perhaps you would need to do it without the sprinkles, as they might melt.
